“ My boyfriend and I stopped in around lunchtime on Saturday and there were plenty of tables available. We were seated right away when we entered -- the interior is very clean and modern. Ordering is done through an iPad but there is an employee available to assist if you need help which was very convenient. Noodles are free refill and there are many choices for soup bases/types of noodle soups. We also got a free drink from sharing posts on Wechat of the shop which was a nice touch. I thoroughly enjoyed my spicy noodle soup which was perfect for a cold day, and we also got appetizers of chicken tenders which were interesting and not as we expected, but very crunchy and fresh so we still enjoyed it. The overall price of the meal was very reasonable and we would definitely stop by again for lunch if we're in the area. Highly recommended to stop by for a quick meal for anyone craving something hot and warm, and possibly spicy on a cold day! ”

“ food was yummy! my fav thing we ordered was the salt and pepper ribs (i forgot what the actual name on the menu is) the portion size is great, there was a lotttt of noodle and it was very filling. beware that their spicy is pretty spicy! i have pretty good spice tolerance and mild was just spicy enough for me. my friend ordered regular spicy and could barely eat it. overall the service was pretty good, though i don't know how customers who only speak english would fare, as when we came in, we were handed a tablet to place our order and the menu was entirely in chinese. ”

Rating 9/10 The tender beef hot pot is very spicy. I ordered mild but I still find it very spicy. It's Szechuan pepper flavor with thin cuts of beef. Not as much flavor as the golden broth. More heat than flavor. Rating 8/10. Fried king oyster mushroom. Do not order this for delivery. The batter is rock hard and feels like a bone. If you remove the mushroom from the batter it's edible. Rating 5/10 Fried milk You get 4 pieces for $8. Not worth it. Rating 6/10 ”

“ Stopped by this place and decided to grab a quick bite. The waiters were very friendly and informative with ordering. We decided to get a few side dishes/appetizers, and the fried chicken filet was really good (with the spice powder of course). The rice noodles have a tomato soup(which will depend if you like tomato flavor), but it was really good to my taste. The place is on the moderate/smaller side, however the decoration is nice to see. ”

I also liked the deep fried mushroom and rice cake dessert. The short rib appetizer was decent. The milk tea was good but the plum drink was way too strong and had a weird smoky taste. The free snacks were a nice touch but a bunch of them were stale. Service (5/5): Overall friendly and helpful service. The food came out fast and they addressed a lot of our questions. Ambiance (5/5): Nice interior with good decorations on the ceiling. Seats were overall clean and nice. I liked the wooden decorations on the ceiling which had various Chinese characters. ”

“ New noodle option on Main ST with cute decor. It's giving mom and pop shop. Ordered the combo B- tomato broth noodles, choice of appetizer, choice of dessert, and choice of drink. Also ordered a side of Stinky Tofu. The noodles were perfectly cooked with a flavorful rich tomato broth. The appetizer of beef skewers were well grilled and covered in cumin and spice. For dessert had the Blueberry ice jelly which wasn't too sweet and refreshing. The plum juice was tart and exactly what I needed to freshen up the palate. Stinky tofu was hot, crunchy, covered in sauce and well fermented. A fun choice to try for those who haven't had it before- this place does a solid version at a great price point. Service was fast and friendly. When I ordered more noodles, it came fast and perfectly al dente :) Solid option if you're looking to get some noodles with stinky tofu/skewers at a great price point. ”

“ Only been here but would like to come back to try more items Out front there is unlimited snacks up for grabs. There were lotus root chips, lolipops,etc. We ordered quite a lot of dishes off the menu. Tofu dessert: smaller than expected from the pic and less than what you'd get elsewhere. But this is quite diff from typical doufuhua as well. Sweeter (seems like there's coconut milk in the liquid) and the tofu is actually more jelly like. Fries with tomato: feels like it's the typical frozen fries with just ketchup on the side. Honestly feel like it was missing salt. Probably a better option to opt for the spicy version instead. Fried mushroom: this is highly recommended! Nicely seasoned with very good and light crunch. Batter sticks to the mushroom properly. We ate this so quickly. Chicken skewer: note that this is actually the cartilage parts of chicken. Each piece had a cartilage so if you like to nom on cartilage this is a go to for you. We didnt know it was the cartilage parts so weren't amused with each bite having cartilage and then later confirmed with an employee. Tomato soup base noodle: the soup base is not bad-sweet and tangy. Comes with a good account of noodles with toppings like spam, quail eggs, woodear mushrooms, etc. Overall- not bad. I'd give it 3.5 stars so far. Interior is cute and I like the concept of the unlimited self serve of snacks in the front. Some food items on the menu are good and some are just ok. For the value, it's not bad but being located in flushing, I feel like the value is not quite there with the quality and cost of food. But it's simply not bad and not amazing of a place. Id like to come back and try more items -will update after trying more! ”
